Personal Care Plan
Woodford House’ Home Manager makes sure that all Residents receive the kindest possible care. Our extensively trained team will deliver all the nursing, specialist care and support services that your loved one requires. Personalised care plans consider not only medical, personal and dietary needs, but also the individual’s likes and dislikes, religious preferences, and suggestions from family members that might make their stay with us that little bit more enjoyable.
Who are we
The care of our residents is our primary priority at Woodford House care home. Our care is person focused, recognising the uniqueness of each individual and their rich life experiences; this is at the heart of our care delivery. We blend our assessments and subsequently tailor every care package to meet individual physical, emotional and social needs, wishes and preferences; this is described as person-centred care.
Each and every member of our team is enthused by a very personal and passionate goal, to make a real difference every day. Woodford House's excellent reputation among care professionals means that our home routinely attracts the best candidates for vacancies. Once they have joined us they are supported by comprehensive and continuing training, supervised by dedicated training officers.
Highly Quality Care
Our family of care homes aim to deliver the kindest possible care and enhance the quality of life of Residents who choose to live with us.
Within each of our care homes the Care Home Manager leads a team of care and support Colleagues with skills and experience relevant to their respective discipline.
The number of Colleagues allocated to the respective roles in each of our care homes depends of the number of Residents living in the home, their respective needs which are identified through a pre-admission assessment and ongoing needs as outlined within the care plans which are reviewed regularly to ensure that they are up to date and relevant.
Woodford House is dedicated to serving individuals aged 65 and above who require assistance in managing the fundamental activities of daily living. These activities encompass essential tasks like meal preparation, bathing, dressing, housekeeping, medication monitoring, and help with mobility, all of which have become challenging to handle independently.
Additionally, many residents opt to reside at Woodford House, not only due to their need for assistance but also because they desire to escape the solitude of living alone or the burden of maintaining their own homes. In our extensive experience, caring for this particular group of residents revolves around providing them with peace of mind.
Our care home strives to create an environment where they can thrive, fostering opportunities for residents to build friendships, explore new interests, and enjoy a fulfilling quality of life.
